Did Democrats Incite Violence Again Steve Scalise
WASHINGTON, D.C. – Every bit the country faces the upcoming impeachment trial of President Donald Trump, Senator Rand Paul (R-KY) had a few words to say nearly the legitimacy of the accusations as well as the legitimacy of the trial itself.
On Friday, January 22, Paul spoke with Fox News' Sean Hannity about the early days of the Biden presidency and the impeachment trial.
The Senator began with some harsh words on Biden's immediate actions against the Keystone Pipeline, and on Biden's mandatory minimum wage.
Paul said:
"It's kind of a strange kickoff to an administration, that you are going to put your best pes frontwards, and the kickoff thing you say is,
"'Well, this is how I'm going to impale jobs. I'm going to kill thousands of jobs with the Keystone Pipeline.'
"…simply also with a mandatory minimum wage of fifteen dollars, fifty-fifty the regime says that nearly iv 1000000 people volition lose their jobs."
After stating that the showtime people to lose their jobs after a minimum wage hike would be blackness teens, Paul added:
"So, why does Joe Biden hate black teenagers should exist the question.
"Why does Joe Biden destroy all these jobs?"

Paul then leveled his critiques at the electric current impeachment procedure, telling Hannity:
"Well, here's the real question about impeachment.
"If they're going to impeach people who incite violence, I have a question, are they going to impeach Bernie Sanders? You remember the guy who shot Steve Scalise?
"Steve Scalise well-nigh died."
Calculation that Scalise'south would-be murderer was a "rabid Bernie Sanders supporter," Paul went on to explain:
"And y'all think what Democrats were maxim at the time? They were proverb Republicans' wellness care programme is you get sick and and so yous die.
"That sounds like an incitement.
"If y'all're telling people that the Republican Political party is going to kill y'all, why wouldn't you lot then react violently and say we must kill them earlier they impale u.s.?"
Paul quickly pointed out that his suggestion was "not serious," and then he explained that he was merely following Democrat logic.
He told Hannity:
"Just if you follow the logic that the president maxim go fight for your state is somehow to be taken literally, fifty-fifty though he used the words peacefully, you'd have to examine Bernie Sanders' linguistic communication because one of his rabid supporters about killed Steve Scalise."
Both men and so contributed past examples of apparent Democrat incitement to violence.
Paul brought up Cory Booker, saying:
"Booker said, get upward in their confront, get up in their face. Is that to be taken literally or figuratively, Cory?"
Sean Hannity provided additional situations, proverb:
"Well, y'all got Maxine Waters. I'm going to have Trump out tonight.
"Biden, I'thou going to take him out to the back of the gym and vanquish the hell out of him."
Hannity added:
"Or Kamala Harris after the law precinct was burned out in Minneapolis, the riots there. Nosotros're not going to stop, they shouldn't end, we shouldn't stop and on from in that location. And yous improve take note, you better — y'all better beware.
"Schumer on the steps of the Supreme Court threatening Gorsuch and Kavanaugh."
Paul then turned the conversation to his concerns about the legitimacy of the impeachment process.
Noting that Chief Justice Roberts has said that he would not preside over the instance, Paul stated that in that case, the process is "an illegitimate procedure and information technology isn't a real impeachment."

He added:
"It's going to be a faux partisan impeachment."
Paul went on to say:
"And so, this is an illegitimate process and even the chief justice of the Supreme Courtroom who's not a rabid Trump person, who'due south actually if annihilation sort of in the centre, he is now saying this is illegitimate because I'g not getting in the middle of this, and I'm not coming over for this."
If Justice Roberts won't preside over this sham "impeachment" so why would information technology ever be considered legitimate?
Hint: It won't exist.

Stating that "[p]eople in Washington do mind," the Senator encouraged viewers to telephone call or email Senator Republican Leader Mitch McConnell in lodge to speak out against the impeachment proceedings.
Segueing back into the Democrats' logic, Paul added:
"[T]lid's not a road we should go down, only if you lot apply the logic they're using confronting Trump, they would have to look in the mirror and await at all the times they've said, go fight, win, get up in their face, throw their food on the floor, attack them in restaurants, yell and scream at them, all the stuff that happened to my married woman and I."
Senator Paul concluded:
"Y'all know, if they're going to — if they're going to say Trump incited that, they demand to look at all of their speeches, and I call up what you'd find is no, they just desire to await at Trump."
"They don't want to expect in the mirror."

In October 2018, Democratic Representative Maxine Waters fabricated a directly threat to President Trump:
"I will become and take Trump out tonight."
This is a very slippery slope we're going down if we're charging someone for intent.
No one said anything to Maxine Waters for actually telling people to harass conservatives.

Later encouraging and normalizing violence, rather than actually helping (the) American people in this time, we outset impeachments that further divide our land. I call bull crap when I hear the Democrats demanding unity. Sadly, they are just unified in hate."
I voted confronting the frivolous impeachment sham today.
It will be nice when Democrats tin stop this foolishness and so we can get to working on behalf of the American people.
Impeaching a President with seven days left in his term is a colossal waste of time.
